Support the FUNDraiser by SHARING with others to support the cause!

We NEED YOU to help us spread the word about our Annual FUNDraiser!  It takes a wide range of supporters like you to fulfill our mission to champion the resurgence of the Mill Creek as a natural and community asset.  Your donations and participation are critic to this fundraiser’s success.  You can help us find like minded people who care about our community and the creek by sharing the event with your friends and family.  Below are ideas for ways you can spread the word:

  • Send an email to your friends.  Share links to the fundraiser or to a specific Trash Team.  Modify this sample message below to tell why Mill Creek matters to you:

Want to join me in supporting a good cause?  I'm raising money for Mill Creek Alliance's Trash-a-Thon. These crazy people are pulling [literally] tons of trash out of the creek in September and October and are asking for pledges to support the efforts to clean up the Mill Creek. It's an urban stream that is both beautiful and messed up at the same time and I want to be a part of making it better.

MCA and their dedicated volunteers, like the  Mill Creek Yacht Club who I paddle with from time to time, work tirelessly to make the Mill Creek better every day, and to share it with as many people as possible. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about Mill Creek Alliance below.

The Mill Creek Alliance champions the resurgence of the Mill Creek Watershed (in Southwest Ohio) as a natural and community asset. They envision the watershed as a healthy ecosystem where people and communities can thrive.

Their work focuses on RESTORATION, EDUCATION, AND RECREATION.

    • Use the links above to post to social media!

    • Create a Facebook Fundraiser. If you use Facebook, this is an easy way to ask the people you care about to help you support your causes.  Facebook collects the funds and sends it to MCA when the fundraiser ends.  Linda Keller, MCA staff member, did a Facebook fundraiser in 2020 to which a small handful of friends helped raise $275.  CLICK HERE for instructions for how to create a Facebook Fundraiser.
