the Commodore
Bruce Koehler, better known as The Commodore, has been leading the Mill Creek Yacht Club on adventures and cleanups since 1994. His team is also known as the Mill Creek Misfits. No one has shown as much dedication to restoring the Mill Creek and cleaning it up than this seasoned veteran.
bosun BechteL
Greg Bechtel paddled, portaged, and dragged a canoe with Bernie Moller through all 28 miles of the Mill Creek TWICE, once on Memorial Day 2020 and again in Spring of 2021! He proudly holds the title of Tire Vulture, given to him by The Man, The Myth, The Legend, the original Tire Vulture, Mike Reifenberger.
Captain Skidmore
The Skidmores have a lot of family members in the MCYC, and are seasoned veterans at getting hands dirty and feet wet! Carson and Chip Skidmore were a key part of the MCYC team that pulled 462 tires for the big Mill Creek Tire Sweep in 2019.
