WELCOME TO THE MILL CREEK MUSEUM

Located just off the main stem of the creek, the Mill Creek Museum offers an inside look into a rich past of restoration and recreation in the Mill Creek watershed. Unlock the history and knowledge of our creek through photos, maps, documents, and artifacts.

You can find us at 1223 Jefferson Ave in Reading, Ohio 45215. Our docent is available most Thursdays between 1-4 pm. Appointments preferred.

 

The museum gives you a chance to explore some amazing artifacts including historic maps and Yacht Club creek treasures. The MCYC Commodore, Bruce Koehler, makes a great docent and can caterer your visit to your needs. Topics he can accommodate include:

heritage, recreation, artwork, photographs, trash trophies, groundwater & drinking waters, maps, stream restoration projects, stormwater management, stream monitoring (water quality, habitat, macroinvertebrates, fish, etc), flooding, floodplain management, fish and fishing, greenways (water trails, paved trails, natural surface trails), regalia, wildlife, sewage, infrastructure, plants, Mill Creek Alliance history.
