In-Person WQM Volunteer Training
Whether you're a new or returning volunteer, we invite you to join us on Saturday, February 13th from 9-11am for our annual In-Person Water Quality Monitoring Volunteer Training.
Due to our Ohio EPA Level II Credible Data Program requirements, all Mill Creek Alliance Water Quality Monitoring Volunteers must complete an annual training.
Our regional citizen science water quality monitoring programs are coming together for a shared training experience! Join Mill Creek Alliance, Saturday Stream Snapshot (Lower Little Miami), and Rivers Unlimited (Lower Great Miami) volunteers to review important safety tips, field sampling procedures, and basic lab practices. We will also learn about why our data collection processes impact the quality of our data and how it can be used by regional municipalities and stakeholders.
MCA Field Sampling Volunteers can pick up their team coolers and season’s supplies at this event.
Light bites and refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please feel free to contact Beth Himburg (bhimburg@themillcreekalliance.org) with any questions.
