Tu B’Shevat Tree Planting
Join the MCA A-Team and members of Shomrei Olam (Jewish Environmental Advocates of Cincinnati) from 1PM-4PM for a workparty planting trees at Evendale Commons in honor of Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish “New Year for Trees”. This holiday originated as an agricultural festival marking the start of spring, and now celebrates nature, tree planting, and environmentalism.

Many tools and supplies will be provided but you should also bring:
PPE: Close-toed shoes, long sleeves, long pants, hat, protective eyewear, sunscreen, work gloves, etc
Loppers, handsaws, and other labeled personal tools
Water and snacks
MCA will have protective gloves and eyewear, water to refill bottles, and individually wrapped snacks, but you may wish to bring your own personal items as well.
