Tu B’Shevat Prep. Workparty

Join the MCA A-Team from 10AM-1PM for a workparty to prepare Evendale Commons for tree planting later in March in honor of Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish “New Year for Trees”. We will work to ‘chop-and-drop’ existing piles of cut honeysuckle, pick up trash, and more.

Many tools and supplies will be provided but you should also bring:

• PPE: Close-toed shoes, long sleeves, long pants, hat, protective eyewear, sunscreen, work gloves, etc

• Loppers, handsaws, and other labeled personal tools

• Water and snacks

MCA will have protective gloves and eyewear, water to refill bottles, and individually wrapped snacks, but you may wish to bring your own personal items as well.
