Join the Commodore and other Yacht Club veterans on Saturday, August 27th, as we explore the Mill Creek in our boats. On this urban stream adventure you will gain unexpected panoramic views of stream channelization, enjoy the beauty of tree-lined riparian corridor, paddle past the Lick Run project and under the Western Hills Viaduct, and out to the mouth of the Ohio River. MCYC supplies all necessary equipment for the paddle trip.
The paddling voyage will start and end at the Mill Creek Barrier Dam in Lower Price Hill. The total distance of the paddle is about 3 miles. We will spend about 3 hours on the water with educational stops along the way, plus about an hour of combined time on the land before and after paddling.
