Join the Mill Creek Yacht Club for our 27th Annual Cleanup by Canoe in the Northern Mill Creek Watershed!

Starting in April 1995, this community service event has been done in concert with the Mill Creek Alliance and the City of Reading and other local governments' Public Works Departments.

THIS IS A HANDS DIRTY FEET WET EVENT. You might be reserving a seat in the canoe but your really won't be sitting in it much!! Come wearing waders, boots, and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting wet and muddy. No open toed shoes allowed. Safety equipment (PFD, etc) will be supplied by the Mill Creek Yacht Club.  You may also want to bring:  work gloves, sun hat, sunscreen, bug spray, personal snacks, a dry bag, a non-disposable water bottle.  Extra supplies of this sort will also be on hand.  

Plan details are still being finalized and are subject to change.  There are a lot of moving parts to a cleanup in 3 neighborhoods so these plans are tentative. All who register will be notified of exact locations before the date of the cleanup!
