Citizen Scientists Needed
This is the 8th year the Mill Creek Alliance Water Quality Monitoring Program has monitored the Mill Creek Watershed. Our first 2020 sampling event is March 14th. We collect water samples and analyze them for 8 chemical parameters at a lab to help us identify and address local water quality issues. Monitoring takes place the second Saturday of each month from March through November. This program is VITAL for monitoring the health of the creek and relies completely on committed volunteers like you! The WQMP currently samples 52 sites throughout the Mill Creek watershed. Volunteer jobs include sample collecting or lab analysis. No experience is required. Please email Anne at alyon@themillcreekalliance.org if you are a new volunteer interested in joining this program! Volunteers must attend a training session (see Feb 29 or Mar 4 events)
