This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see a 90 year old dam get breached, learn about native mussels from expert malacologists and perform a project that helps the environment. Some of the mussels that are collected will be relocated to the Mill Creek where they have been absent for over 100 years. We will also be killing honeysuckle and planting native trees and seed stock in the riparian zone.
